Shen'dralas is a new area in World of Warcraft: Forever, reached south of Desolace through the Valley of Bones: dozens of new quests about the Shen'dralar and Eldre'Thalas, Gelkis and Magram centaur stories from level 35, and new reasons to visit Maraudon and Razorfen Downs.

12:25 Shen'dralas is a new area of World of Warcraft: Forever, reached by following the centaur quests of Desolace south through the Valley of Bones, with dozens of new quests about the Shen'dralar people of Dire Maul. Blizzard introduced it at BlizzCon 2026 as "a mystery hiding in plain sight": players who have flown between Mulgore and Desolace have probably seen "a set of ancient ruins passing far below". Blizzard counts three new zones (Mount Hyjal, The Riverglades and Zephras Isle), and Shen'dralas is an area beside them, though its starter guide of Oct 28, 2026 lists it with those destinations. It arrives with the game on Nov 4, 2026.

Where it is

14:01 The way in is on foot, by story. Following the centaur questline "all the way down into the south of Desolace" leads through the Valley of Bones to Shen'dralas, Blizzard's Found Photographs panel said, "breathing life into the spaces that weren't used previously". Its written recap agrees: "South of Desolace through the Valley of Bones" (Blizzard).

Blizzard's other recap places it "between Mulgore and Desolace", matching the flight path the panel mentioned (Blizzard). Icy Veins puts it between Desolace and Feralas (Icy Veins). Forever has no flying mounts, so that flight path is the only view from above.

What is there

The story belongs to the Shen'dralar, whose history is tied to Eldre'Thalas, better known as Dire Maul, and to Prince Tortheldrin. Players also continue storylines of the Gelkis and Magram centaur tribes and find new reasons to visit Maraudon and Razorfen Downs, the What's Next panel said. See Original Dungeons and Raids.

The centaur quests shifted during the beta. On Oct 8, 2026 Blizzard raised the minimum level of the new Gelkis and Magram quests beginning with "Valley of Bones" to 35, from 30, and said it would set their rewards to require level 35 too. The rewards named include Blade of the Magram Clan, Centaur Spear, Ceremonial Centaur Blanket, Greatstaff of the Necrokhans and Staff of Revelations (Blizzard). The recap adds that Desolace's centaur faction quests "receive additional content and faction rewards"; see Reputation.

What is not known yet

Not known as of Oct 31, 2026:

Its level range. Blizzard gives only the level 35 minimum on the quests. eXputer reported that published figures disagree, 40 to 45 or 45 to 53 (eXputer); neither comes from Blizzard. The public beta stopped at level 30.
Whether it has a flight point or a faction base. Blizzard has not said.
Which reputations it adds. Blizzard mentions faction rewards for the centaur quests without listing them.
