Is there a WoW Token in WoW Forever? Not planned, from the same interview, and no Blizzard Forever page offers one as of Oct 31, 2026 (Warcraft Tavern; Gold Guide).

Can I move my modern or Classic characters to WoW Forever? Blizzard has announced no way, and its guides have you start a new character at level 1 (Blizzard; Returning Players Guide).

Can I transfer between rulesets in WoW Forever? Probably not: Blizzard said on Oct 15, 2026 that after a wrong choice "your only option at that point will probably be to reroll", and a dead Hardcore character is the exception (podcast; Rulesets).

Can I transfer to another region in WoW Forever? Blizzard has not said, and the developers said on Oct 29, 2026 that the region restriction remains for grouping (Servers and Realms).

Is there a faction change in WoW Forever? Blizzard has not said as of Oct 31, 2026, and on the PvP ruleset one account stays with one faction (Alliance vs Horde).

Can I play WoW Forever on Steam Deck? Blizzard has not said: its shop lists Windows and Mac, and GameSpot expects its controller support to help handhelds (System Requirements; Gamepad Support).

Is WoW Forever on console? Blizzard has announced no console version as of Oct 31, 2026 (Gamepad Support).

Does WoW Forever have dual spec? Yes, planned from level 40, Blizzard's class articles say, and it has not published a price (Blizzard; Talent Respec and Builds).

Can I play with WoW Classic players in WoW Forever? Blizzard describes no cross-play: groups form only within one region, ruleset and faction, and it calls Forever a separate home "alongside modern and Classic WoW" (Blizzard; Forever vs Classic vs Modern WoW).

24:04 Grouping is limited by design. At BlizzCon the panel asked players to think of each ruleset "like a mega realm", with Horde and Alliance separate and dungeons and raids open only within "your same rule set". Cross-play with Classic is not on offer in anything Blizzard has described.

3:46 GameSpot's reporter said of consoles "they have not announced anything", and pointed to "handhelds like Steam Deck" as a place controller support helps. That is a reporter's view; Blizzard has listed only Windows and Mac.

What is not known yet

As of Oct 31, 2026, Blizzard has not said whether faction changes, region transfers or paid character services will ever come to Forever, or what Dual Specialization costs. The launch-day pass will fill what launch settles.
